Hearst Castle |
This is a fun way to spend some of your time. The Castle is a taste of the life of William Randolph Hearst and his passion for this part of the world. The magnificent estate "La Cuesta Encantada" (The Enchanted Hill) is open for tours daily, except Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years Day.
The Museum of Natural History is located just west of California's scenic Highway 1, and is home of the Monarch Butterfly Grove and Montaņa de Oro State Park. In addition to panoramic views of the coastline, the view from the museum includes world-famous Morro Rock.

Morro Bay Harbor |
Morro Bay is one of the few remaining commercial fishing harbors in California.
By taking a walk along the waterfront, you can see fisherman at work. From the first light of dawn,
they are preparing their boats for the day at sea. Long after sunset, they are still hard at work,
unloading their catch and repairing their nets.
